In this article, we address this competition in an infinite temperature spin system, by means of the Loschmidt echo (LE), which is based on a time reversal procedure. This quantity has been formerly employed to connect quantum and classical chaos, and in the present many-body scenario we use it as a dynamical witness. We assess the LE time scales as a function of disorder and interaction strengths. The strategy enables a qualitative phase diagram that shows the regions of ergodic and nonergodic behavior of the polarization under the echo dynamics.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2013-11-11T18:00:10.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "71.30.+h", "03.65.Yz", "05.70.Ln", "72.15.Rn" ], "keywords": [ "loschmidt echo", "interaction-disorder competition", "infinite temperature spin system", "closed quantum many-body systems" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2013, "month": "Nov", "volume": 88, "number": 19, "pages": 195106 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013PhRvB..88s5106Z" } } }
