The experimental data matches a zero-parameter theoretical model for several different regimes of operation, indicating a good understanding of the switch's characteristics. We also discuss extensions of this work that will allow for significantly improved performance, and the integration of this technology onto chip-scale devices.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-01-31T14:47:24.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.65.Xp", "42.50.Ar", "42.65.-k", "42.79.Ta" ], "keywords": [ "quantum zeno effect", "interaction-free all-optical switching", "experimental demonstration", "demonstrate all-optical interaction-free switching", "experimental data matches" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2013, "month": "Jun", "volume": 110, "number": 24, "pages": 240403 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013PhRvL.110x0403M" } } }
