The method employs Dyson's log-gas formalism for random matrix eigenvalues and also enables one to simultaneously investigate the thermodynamic properties. This approach is a powerful alternative to the conventionally used Monte Carlo simulations based on the Boltzmann sampling, and is ideally suited for investigating beta-ensembles.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2013-01-22T13:23:59.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "65C05", "15A52", "15A18", "60J65" ], "keywords": [ "random matrix ensembles", "wang-landau algorithm", "spectral densities", "method employs dysons log-gas formalism", "random matrix eigenvalues" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "EPL (Europhysics Letters)", "year": 2013, "month": "Jan", "volume": 101, "number": 2, "pages": 20002 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013EL....10120002K" } } }
