Despite the absence of a fractional steady-state ac Josephson current in the topological phase, the dissipative multiple Andreev reflection (MAR) current I_dc at different junction transparencies is particularly revealing. It exhibits unique features related to topology, such as the gap inversion, the formation of Majorana bound states, and fermion-parity conservation. Moreover, the critical current I_c, which remarkably does not vanish at the critical point where the system becomes gapless, provides direct evidence of the topological transition.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2013-08-01T16:17:20.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "multiple andreev reflection", "topological superconducting nanowire junctions", "critical current", "fractional steady-state ac josephson current" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "New Journal of Physics", "year": 2013, "month": "Jul", "volume": 15, "number": 7, "pages": "075019" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 21, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013NJPh...15g5019S" } } }
