We address how the two-channel Kondo physics and its emergent Majoranas arise. The existence of a single unscreened Majorana mode results in non-Fermi-liquid features and we determine the universal crossover function describing the Fermi-liquid to non-Fermi-liquid region. Remarkably, the same universal form emerges both at weak transmission and large transmission. We find that the charge relaxation resistance strongly increases in the non-Fermi-liquid realm. Our findings can be measured using current technology assuming a large cavity.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2014-04-22T14:19:01.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.63.Kv", "71.10.Ay", "72.15.Qm" ], "keywords": [ "quantum impurity systems", "majorana fermions", "probing dynamics", "charge relaxation resistance strongly increases", "single unscreened majorana mode results" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2013, "month": "Dec", "volume": 88, "number": 24, "pages": 241302 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2013PhRvB..88x1302M" } } }
