It is usually thought that the disk in the central engine of GRBs is the advection-dominated accretion disk, which is developed from a massive (mass M_disk) torus at radius r_disk. We find a positive correlation between the isotropic gamma-ray energy E_iso and duration (so-called T_90) for GRBs. We interpret this correlation within the advection-dominated accretion disk model, associating E_iso and T_90 with M_ disk and viscous timescale respectively.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2012-10-22T01:14:47.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "gamma-ray bursts", "central engine", "advection-dominated accretion disk model", "isotropic gamma-ray energy", "black hole" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1017/S1743921312019722" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 2, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 1191986, "adsabs": "2013IAUS..290..223H" } } }
