We apply high resolution polarization sensitive photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy to the same quantum dot for three different charge states: neutral and negatively or positively charged by one additional electron or hole. From the detailed analysis of the excitation spectra, a full understanding of the single-carrier energy levels and the interactions between carriers in these levels is extracted for the first time.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2012-07-24T09:24:15.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "78.67.Hc", "73.21.La" ], "keywords": [ "single quantum dots", "negative charge states", "self-assembled inas/gaas quantum dots", "single self-assembled inas/gaas quantum", "sensitive photoluminescence excitation spectroscopy" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2012, "month": "Aug", "volume": 86, "number": 8, "pages": "085306" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2012PhRvB..86h5306B" } } }
