The slow dynamics is induced by rare-region effects occurring on correlated subspaces of vertices connected by large weight edges, and manifests in the form of a smeared phase transition. We conjecture that more sophisticated network motifs could be able to induce Griffiths phases, as a consequence of purely topological disorder.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2012-10-01T09:06:56.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "89.75.Hc", "05.70.Ln", "89.75.Fb" ], "keywords": [ "slow dynamics", "weighted tree networks", "rare-region effects", "contact process", "large weight edges" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review E", "year": 2012, "month": "Aug", "volume": 86, "number": 2, "pages": "026117" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 12, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2012PhRvE..86b6117O" } } }
