Although kinematics of the bulge stars can be well reproduced by a boxy-bulge, the possible existence of a small embedded classical bulge can not be ruled out. We study the dynamical evolution of a small classical bulge in a model of the Milky Way using a self-consistent high resolution N-body simulation. Detailed kinematics and dynamical properties of such a bulge are presented.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2011-10-21T16:02:27.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "milky way", "dynamical evolution", "n-body model", "self-consistent high resolution n-body simulation", "small classical bulge" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1051/epjconf/20121906008" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 2, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 940780, "adsabs": "2012EPJWC..1906008S" } } }
