Level shifts due to virtual charge fluctuations can be quantitatively evaluated within a diagrammatic representation of our transport theory. The theory is valid for multilevel quantum dot systems and we exemplarily apply it to carbon nanotube quantum dots, where we show that the presence of many levels can qualitatively influence the TMR effect.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2011-09-29T17:17:07.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.63.Kv", "73.23.Hk" ], "keywords": [ "negative tunneling magneto-resistance", "ferromagnetic contacts", "multilevel quantum dot systems", "carbon nanotube quantum dots", "spin-dependent energy level shifts" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2012, "month": "Jan", "volume": 85, "number": 4, "pages": "045313" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2012PhRvB..85d5313K" } } }
