We revise old renormalization group results and the use of 1/N expansion to address questions of the possible opening of a low-energy gap, and the magnitude of the graphene fine structure constant. We emphasize the role of Fermi velocity as the only free parameter determining the transport and electronic properties of the graphene system and revise its renormalization by Coulomb interactions in the light of recent experimental evidence.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2011-08-02T14:43:15.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "coulomb interactions", "physical observables", "revise old renormalization group results", "graphene fine structure constant", "neutral graphene system" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1088/0031-8949/2012/T146/014015", "journal": "Physica Scripta Volume T", "year": 2012, "month": "Jan", "volume": 146, "pages": "014015" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2012PhST..146a4015V" } } }
