Here we present an approach to reveal the grain structure of graphene by the selective oxidation of defects and subsequent atomic force microscopy analysis. This technique offers a quick and easy alternative to different electron microscopy and diffraction methods and may be used to give quick feedback on the quality of graphene samples grown by chemical vapor deposition.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2011-07-18T12:05:23.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "61.48.Gh", "61.72.Mm", "81.15.Gh", "81.65.Mq" ], "keywords": [ "chemical vapor deposition", "grain structure", "graphene grown", "subsequent atomic force microscopy analysis", "graphene samples grown" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Applied Physics Letters", "year": 2011, "month": "Jul", "volume": 99, "number": 2, "pages": "023104" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2011ApPhL..99b3104N" } } }
