This new approach will enable researchers to investigate periodicity notion on a large class of time scales whose members may not satisfy the condition: \"there exists a $P>0$ such that $t\\pm P\\in\\mathbb{T}$ for all $t\\in\\mathbb{T}$\", unlike the existing literature. Therefore, the results of this paper open an avenue for the investigation of periodic solutions of $q$-difference equations.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2012-01-04T08:44:42.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "34N05", "34C25", "34K13", "35B10" ], "keywords": [ "time scales", "periodicity concept", "difference equations", "large class", "shift operators" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 11, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2010arXiv1012.2002A" } } }
