Based upon recent progress, the prospect for a broad field of \"cavity quantum mechanics\" is very real. These systems introduce mesoscopic mechanical oscillators as a new quantum resource and also inherently couple their motion to photons throughout the electromagnetic spectrum.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2010-10-19T21:26:23.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "cavity optomechanics", "cavity electromechanics", "embed high-q mesoscopic mechanical oscillators", "cavity quantum mechanics", "electromagnetic spectrum" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1088/1742-6596/264/1/012025", "journal": "Journal of Physics Conference Series", "year": 2011, "month": "Jan", "volume": 264, "number": 1, "pages": "012025" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2011JPhCS.264a2025R" } } }
