We ?found that the thermal conductivity is considerably reduced by the edge H-passivation. We also ?nd that the isotope mixing can reduce the thermal conductivities, with the supperlattice distribution giving rise to more reduction than the random distribution. These results can be useful in nanoscale engineering of thermal transport and heat management using GNRs.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2010-08-06T22:54:57.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "66.70.-f", "73.61.Wp", "61.46.-w", "61.48.Gh", "81.05.ue", "81.65.Rv" ], "keywords": [ "thermal conductivity", "molecular dynamics study", "edge passivation", "isotope engineering", "classical molecular dynamics simulation" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1063/1.3491267", "journal": "Applied Physics Letters", "year": 2010, "month": "Sep", "volume": 97, "number": 13, "pages": 133107 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2010ApPhL..97m3107H" } } }
