Thereby nonlocal spin valve measurements enable us to evaluate their spin Hall conductivities. The sign of the spin Hall conductivity changes systematically depending on the number of $d$ electrons. This tendency is in good agreement with the recent theoretical calculation based on the intrinsic spin Hall effect.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2011-05-06T06:31:24.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "72.25.Ba", "72.25.Mk", "75.70.Cn", "75.75.-c" ], "keywords": [ "intrinsic spin hall effect", "5d transition metals", "spin current preferably relaxes", "spin hall conductivity", "hall conductivity changes" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "doi": "10.1103/PhysRevB.83.174405", "year": 2011, "month": "May", "volume": 83, "number": 17, "pages": 174405 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2011PhRvB..83q4405M" } } }
