This is in drastic contrast with the planar case, where canards usually occur in two-parametric families. In present work, general case of nonconvex slow curve with several fold points is considered. The number of canard cycles in such systems can be effectively computed and is no more than the number of fold points. This estimate is sharp for every system from some explicitly constructed open set.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2011-04-06T16:35:41.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "34E15", "37G15" ], "keywords": [ "generic slow-fast systems", "multiple canard cycles", "duck farming", "fold points", "arbitrary small values" ], "tags": [ "conference paper" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 13, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2010arXiv1008.0133S" } } }
