We model the trajectories of charged particles as a random walk with a prescribed diffusioncoefficient, accelerating the particles at each shock crossing. Secondary production by CRs colliding with gas is included as a Monte Carlo process. We find that SNRs produce less antimatter than suggested previously: The positron/electron ratio and the antiproton/proton ratio are a few percent and few $\\times 10^{-5}$, respectively. Both ratios do not rise with energy.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2010-05-05T15:07:01.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "98.70.Sa" ], "keywords": [ "supernova remnant", "antimatter spectra", "time-dependent modeling", "monte carlo process", "energy spectra" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Journal of Physics Conference Series", "year": 2010, "month": "Nov", "volume": 259, "number": 1, "pages": "012092" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 851087, "adsabs": "2010JPhCS.259a2092K" } } }
