A field-theoretical description of the dynamic critical effects of ultrasound propagation in solids is performed with allowance for both fluctuation and relaxation attenuation mechanisms. The temperature and frequency dependences of the dynamical scaling functions of the ultrasound critical characteristics are calculated in a two-loop approximation for different values of the correlation parameter $a$ of the Weinrib-Halperin model with long-range correlated defects. The asymptotic behavior of the dynamical scaling functions in hydrodynamic and critical regions is separated. The influence of long-range correlated disorder on the asymptotic behavior of the critical ultrasonic anomalies is discussed.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-11-14T07:25:01.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "64.60.ae", "64.60.F-", "61.43.-j", "43.35.+d" ], "keywords": [ "long-range correlated defects", "critical ultrasound propagation", "asymptotic behavior", "dynamical scaling functions", "sound velocity dispersion" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2009, "month": "Jul", "volume": 80, "number": 2, "pages": "024115" }, "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009PhRvB..80b4115P" } } }
