The evolution of mass scales in these generalized cosmologies is studied for a variety of models for the background without having to specify any details within the local inhomogeneities. We find that the final effective gravitational mass and size of the evolving inhomogeneities depends on their linear momenta but these properties are essentially unaffected by the details of the background model.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2010-01-11T17:41:29.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "98.80.Jk", "04.20.Jb", "04.20.Cv" ], "keywords": [ "generalized swiss-cheese cosmologies", "mass scales", "nonzero linear momenta", "final effective gravitational mass", "background model" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review D", "year": 2010, "month": "Jan", "volume": 81, "number": 2, "pages": "023501" }, "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 10, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 832788, "adsabs": "2010PhRvD..81b3501G" } } }
