These corrections are dominated by collisions of electrons with nearly opposite momenta that come from different reservoirs. They are positive, increase with temperature, and are strongly suppressed by a magnetic field. We argue that this suppression may be responsible for an anomalous positive magnetoresistance observed in a recent experiment.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2010-03-27T16:15:52.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.21.Hb", "73.23.-b", "73.50.Lw" ], "keywords": [ "ballistic microcontacts", "electron-electron scattering", "magnetoresistance", "wide 2deg ballistic contact", "corrections" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2010, "month": "Mar", "volume": 81, "number": 12, "pages": 125316 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 10, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2010PhRvB..81l5316N" } } }
