We have validated our procedures by also analyzing 10 field stars of a range of temperatures and metallicities that were observed by \\citet{Vale05}. Our result for the Pleiades is [Fe/H] = $+0.03\\pm0.02\\pm0.05$ (statistical and systematic). The average of published measurements for the Pleiades is $+0.042\\pm0.021$.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-09-02T20:06:02.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "metallicity", "high signal-to-noise echelle spectra", "field stars", "high-resolution", "measurements" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1088/0004-6256/138/5/1292", "journal": "The Astronomical Journal", "year": 2009, "month": "Nov", "volume": 138, "number": 5, "pages": 1292 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 830222, "adsabs": "2009AJ....138.1292S" } } }
