These equations describe the time evolution of the nonequilibrium Green function for interacting many-body systems in the presence of time-dependent external fields. The external fields are treated nonperturbatively whereas the many-body interactions are incorporated perturbatively using Phi-derivable self-energy approximations that guarantee the satisfaction of the macroscopic conservation laws of the system. These approximations are discussed in detail for the time-dependent Hartree-Fock, the second Born and the GW approximation.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-06-09T11:58:30.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "31.15.xm", "31.15.-p" ], "keywords": [ "kadanoff-baym equations", "time-propagation", "macroscopic conservation laws", "time propagation scheme", "time-dependent external fields" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1063/1.3127247", "journal": "Journal of Chemical Physics", "year": 2009, "month": "Jun", "volume": 130, "number": 22, "pages": 4101 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009JChPh.130v4101S" } } }
