In a specific range of parameters, such a system can be interpreted as a particle in an effective magnetic field, interacting through a spin-orbit interaction term. In the limit of a large separation from the interaction region one can describe the system in terms of two irreducible elementary subsystems which correspond to two independent quantum harmonic oscillators.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-05-25T20:11:23.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.65.Ta", "03.65.-w" ], "keywords": [ "composite system", "independent quantum harmonic oscillators", "dissipation", "hoofts quantization proposal", "quantum isotonic oscillator" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Physics Letters A", "year": 2009, "month": "Nov", "volume": 373, "number": 45, "pages": 4106 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 9, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 822120, "adsabs": "2009PhLA..373.4106B" } } }
