Time-resolved measurements of resonant x-ray detected FMR during forced precession are enabled by use of a rf excitation that is phase-locked to the storage ring bunch clock. Several applications of the combined XMCD + FMR technique are presented, demonstrating the flexibility of the experimental design.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-05-14T15:29:11.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "07.55.-w", "76.50.+g", "78.20.Ls", "07.85.-m" ], "keywords": [ "phase-resolved ferromagnetic resonance", "compact apparatus", "x-ray magnetic circular dichroism", "high frequency transmission lines", "ferromagnetic resonance measurements" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1063/1.3190402", "journal": "Review of Scientific Instruments", "year": 2009, "month": "Aug", "volume": 80, "number": 8, "pages": 3903 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 8, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009RScI...80h3903A" } } }
