Various electrode shapes made from permalloy (Ni_{81}Fe_{19}), the diluted ferromagnet PdFe, and PdFe/Fe bilayers are studied for both their micromagnetic properties and their contact formation to carbon nanotubes. Suitable devices are tested in low-temperature electron transport measurements, displaying the typical tunneling magnetoresistance of carbon nanotube pseudo spin valves.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2009-08-13T16:13:58.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "75.70.Ak", "61.46.Fg", "75.70.Cn", "75.50.Bb" ], "keywords": [ "ferromagnetic contacts", "carbon nanotube pseudo spin valves", "multi-wall carbon nanotube-based spin devices", "low-temperature electron transport measurements", "characterisation" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "AIP", "journal": "Journal of Applied Physics", "year": 2009, "month": "Oct", "volume": 106, "number": 8, "pages": 4314 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 11, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009JAP...106h4314P" } } }
