Using an all-optical experimental setup, we show that entanglement can be revived even after it suffers from sudden death. A maximally revived state is shown to violate a Bell's inequality with 4.1 standard deviations which verifies its quantum nature. The revival phenomenon observed in this experiment provides an intriguing perspective on entanglement dynamics.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2010-03-04T09:27:55.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.67.Mn", "03.65.Ud", "03.65.Yz", "42.50.Dv" ], "keywords": [ "photonic entanglement collapse", "experimental demonstration", "entanglement dynamics", "revival features", "quantum nature" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2010, "month": "Mar", "volume": 104, "number": 10, "pages": 100502 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 5, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2010PhRvL.104j0502X" } } }
