This is done at a non-perturbative level of the spin foam formalism working directly with the group field theory (GFT). We show that matter fields emerge from the fundamental model as perturbations around a specific phase of the GFT, corresponding to a solution of the fundamental equations of motion, and that the non-commutative field theory governs their effective dynamics.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-03-20T09:25:40.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "04.60.Pp", "11.10.Nx" ], "keywords": [ "group field theory", "4d deformed special relativity", "foam formalism working", "non-commutative field theory governs", "matter fields emerge" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review D", "year": 2010, "month": "Jan", "volume": 81, "number": 2, "pages": "024015" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 23, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "inspire": 815898, "adsabs": "2010PhRvD..81b4015G" } } }
