This method, which is equivalent to the envelope theory, has been recently proposed as a powerful tool to get approximate analytical solutions of the Schr\\\"odinger equation. Various shapes for the potential $V(r)$ are investigated: power-law, funnel, square root, and Yukawa. A comparison with the exact results is discussed in detail.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2009-03-18T15:13:30.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.65.Ge" ], "keywords": [ "auxiliary field method", "semirelativistic hamiltonians", "approximate analytical closed energy formulas", "exact results", "envelope theory" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "International Journal of Modern Physics A", "year": 2009, "volume": 24, "number": "25-26", "pages": 4695 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009IJMPA..24.4695S" } } }
