The shorter junctions exhibit critical currents of several tens of microA at 350 mK, while Josephson coupling persists up to ~2.7 K. Good agreement is obtained by comparing the measured switching currents to a model which holds in the diffusive regime. Our results demonstrate that V is an excellent candidate for the implementation of superconducting nanodevices operating at a few kelvins.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2009-04-06T10:29:23.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "74.50.+r", "74.25.Sv", "74.78.Na", "74.70.Ad" ], "keywords": [ "nanofabricated v/cu/v mesoscopic junctions", "josephson current", "planar v/cu/v mesoscopic josephson weak-links", "low-temperature behavior", "shorter junctions" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Applied Physics Letters", "year": 2009, "month": "Mar", "volume": 94, "number": 13, "pages": 132508 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009ApPhL..94m2508G" } } }
