This model breaks the particle-hole symmetry observed on an ordinary one-dimensional lattice and results in a surprisingly simple phase diagram, without a maximum-current phase. Numerical simulations of the model with open boundary conditions reveal a number of dynamic features and suggest possible applications.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2009-05-09T05:56:53.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "totally asymmetric exclusion process", "hierarchical long-range connections", "open boundary conditions reveal", "non-equilibrium particle transport model", "ordinary one-dimensional lattice" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment", "year": 2009, "month": "Jul", "volume": 2009, "number": 7, "pages": 7010 }, "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 10, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009JSMTE..07..010O" } } }
