We prove criteria in terms of commutators for operators to be magnetic pseudo-differential operators of suitable symbol classes. The approach is completely intrinsic; neither the statements nor the proofs depend on a choice of a vector potential. We apply this criteria to inversion problems, functional calculus, affiliation results and to the study of the evolution group generated by a magnetic pseudo-differential operator.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2009-03-12T09:58:05.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "35S05", "47A60", "81Q10" ], "keywords": [ "magnetic pseudodifferential operators", "commutator criteria", "magnetic pseudo-differential operator", "gauge covariant magnetic weyl calculus", "proofs depend" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009arXiv0902.0513I" } } }
