In terms of the average photon number employed, our procedure can achieve twice the sensitivity of conventional interferometric ones in the noiseless case. In addition, it is more precise than the (recently proposed) optimal two-mode strategy even in the presence of loss.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2008-09-29T18:44:56.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "42.50.St", "03.65.Ta", "06.20.Dk" ], "keywords": [ "lossy quantum interferometry", "robust strategies", "optimal two-mode strategy", "simple multiround strategy", "shot noise limit" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review A", "year": 2009, "month": "Feb", "volume": 79, "number": 2, "pages": "023812" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009PhRvA..79b3812M" } } }
