In our scheme, a contradiction between quantum mechanics and noncontextual hidden variables is revealed through the measurement statistics of two joint measurements of an ensemble of non-entangled qubits. The origin of nonclassicality is fully attributed to the measurement process. Quantum optical realization using photon pairs and linear optics are presented.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v3", "updated": "2008-06-27T10:20:58.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "keywords": [ "experimental test", "non-entangled photons", "four-dimensional hiltbert space", "noncontextual hidden variables", "feasible test proving quantum contextuality" ], "note": { "typesetting": "RevTeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2008arXiv0805.3398N" } } }
