Their spectra share a common \"gapless\" structure, related to conformal field theory. In the model state, these are the \\textit{only} levels, while in the \"generic\" case, they are separated from the rest of the spectrum by a clear \"entanglement gap\", which appears to remain finite in the thermodynamic limit. We propose that the low-lying entanglement spectrum can be used as a \"fingerprint\" to identify topological order.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2008-07-04T00:26:14.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "03.67.Mn", "05.30.Pr", "73.43.-f" ], "keywords": [ "fractional quantum hall effect states", "non-abelian fractional quantum hall effect", "entanglement spectrum", "topological order", "entanglement entropy" ], "tags": [ "journal article", "famous paper" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2008, "month": "Jul", "volume": 101, "number": 1, "pages": "010504" }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2008PhRvL.101a0504L" } } }
