Independently, the same result was proved by Yanagi, Furuichi and Kuriyama. The new bound is given in terms of Wigner-Yanase-Dyson informations. Kosaki himself asked if this inequality can be proved in the setting of von Neumann algebras. In this paper we provide a positive answer to that question and moreover we show how the inequality can be generalized to an arbitrary operator monotone function.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2008-04-16T17:49:56.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "62B10", "94A17", "46L30", "46L60" ], "keywords": [ "von neumann algebras", "uncertainty principle", "inequality", "arbitrary operator monotone function", "wigner-yanase-dyson informations" ], "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 0, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2008arXiv0804.2651G" } } }
