New random matrix theory results are developed in order to treat correlations between two and three consecutive spacings in the energy level spectrum. These are generalizations of the Wigner surmise for the probability distribution of single level spacing. The analytic formulae are shown to be in good agreement with numerical evaluation.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2008-02-04T21:40:52.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.23.Hk", "05.45.Mt", "73.21.La", "02.10.Yn" ], "keywords": [ "coulomb blockade peaks", "quantum dots", "level spacing", "analytic formulae", "random matrix theory results" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review B", "year": 2007, "month": "Nov", "volume": 76, "number": 19, "pages": 195448 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 15, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2007PhRvB..76s5448H" } } }
