We show that in the limit of well-separated Landau levels the effect is dominated by a change of the distribution function induced by multiphoton processes. At moderate magnetic field, a single-photon mechanism originating from the microwave-induced sidebands in the density of states of disorder-broadened Landau levels becomes important.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2007-11-27T12:42:42.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.50.Pz", "73.43.Qt", "73.50.Fq", "78.67.-n" ], "keywords": [ "fractional microwave-induced resistance oscillations", "moderate magnetic field", "2d electron gas", "well-separated landau levels", "disorder-broadened landau levels" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "publisher": "APS", "journal": "Physical Review Letters", "year": 2007, "month": "Nov", "volume": 99, "number": 20, "pages": 206805 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 4, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2007PhRvL..99t6805D" } } }
