We identify a class of effective scaling models consistent with this data, which is parametrized by the complex structure of a torus with a special spin structure, in which only the number of fermions (c) remains undetermined. For c = 2 this gives the superuniversal anti-holomorphic scaling potential previously inferred from data, with scaling exponent nu = 2.6, in reasonable agreement with available scaling data.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v1", "updated": "2007-06-17T11:30:30.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "73.20.-r" ], "keywords": [ "quantum hall system", "geometric scaling", "emergent sub-modular discrete symmetry", "special spin structure", "scaling exponent" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "journal": "Physics Letters B", "year": 2007, "month": "Sep", "volume": 653, "number": "2-4", "pages": 363 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 6, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2007PhLB..653..363L" } } }
