By finding eigenvalues of the corresponding Hamiltonian operator, the persistent currents flowing in the ring have been obtained. The resulting quantum analog of the overdamped two-junction quantum interference device can be seen as a supercurrent qubit operating in the limit of negligible capacitance and finite inductance.", "revisions": [ { "version": "v2", "updated": "2007-07-26T13:52:01.000Z" } ], "analyses": { "subjects": [ "74.50.+r", "85.25.Dq" ], "keywords": [ "superconducting quantum interference devices", "persistent currents", "overdamped two-junction quantum interference device", "supercurrent qubit", "quantum regime" ], "tags": [ "journal article" ], "publication": { "doi": "10.1016/j.physleta.2009.02.013", "journal": "Physics Letters A", "year": 2009, "month": "Mar", "volume": 373, "number": 15, "pages": 1383 }, "note": { "typesetting": "TeX", "pages": 16, "language": "en", "license": "arXiv", "status": "editable", "adsabs": "2009PhLA..373.1383R" } } }
